2 for 2

Can you believe they are 2???  Me either.  But we had a great time celebrating!!

While Cassidy and Maddie were perfecting the cakes, Saywer was kicked back, getting ready for her big party...
 The crew
Then we headed north to celebrate Birthdays with Brady who turned the big 16!  So hard to believe that one too.
Sawyer is rockin' her new purple sparkly boots...she loves them!
Rylee was definitely loving the presents and all the attention
All the cousins together to celebrate
 Rylee definitley liked the cake
Sawyer just got down to business
 The girls...love their smiles
We headed outside to play and Auntie Lori got some great shots of the girls in action
But she's not allowed to take pics of Cassidy any more...she looks way to grown up!
If time keeps going this fast, my babies will be graduating before I blink!  Thank goodness for pictures and all the wonderful memories

1st Day

I knew this day was coming but I still wasn't ready.  My baby, my sweet little baby girl, started Kindergarten today.  She said she was totally ready, complete with her turquoise cowgirl boots, and she was, especially with her best friend Maddie being in the class.  But as you can see by my picture, I was not.
Our beautiful girl had a great first day with her wonderful teacher Mrs. Jangard and was ready to head back for more the next day.  I'm hoping the next day goes a little easier on me.  Thankgoodness her teacher is understanding and accepting of my helicopter mom tendencies and shoots me little updates throughout the day.  YAY!

Labor Day Camp Out

We started a new tradition this year...We had two other families join our 5 for a total of 6 adults and10 kiddos, under the age of 6...it was awesome!  Our yard could rival any KOA and we had fun and games from hide and seek in the woods to crabbing.  It was a wonderful overnight, so much so that we are thinking of extending it to two nights next year! Maybe the babies (and Moms) will sleep int he tents too :)
Our youngest member, Jacob, was not even supposed to be born yet but was a trooper at 8 weeks old and brought back memories of our own little burrito babies.
No campout is complete without s'mores
 ammenities were definitely family friendly

August Fun

August was fun, full of friends and family, some crabs and a few fish.
Cass filled her first daily crab license with her proud daddy
Uncle Bryce and Auntie Jess came up for a quick visit to give Chad and I a night out for our anniversary.  So sweet and they had a great time with the kiddos too :)
 Then came Mom and Dad
Cassidy, Dad and I got to go on a nice little trail ride in the forest lands.  Cassidy and Ziggy did great and at the end of the 2 hour ride wanting more...yay!
Rylee decided to join  Cassidy in the tub...before getting her clothes off, even with Granddma keeping watch (she may have been laughing too hard to storp her)
 Another great visit

We also had lots of time with friends picking blackberries, going on bike rides, eating watermelon (I finally figured out the perfect place to have them eat it) and going to the park and barn

And we started a new first....soccer!  Cass was a little hesitant, but the pink soccer shoes and the fact that she had some friends on the team sealed the deal.  It was pretty funny at the first practice, watching the 4 girls compare shoes-I had no idea it would start so early
 Cassidy's biggest cheerleaders
You have to look close, but there is a super cute high-five at the end that makes it all sooooo worth while!
