6 weeks

Our family is settling in, with lots of help from Grandma Margie, Grandma Kit and all our wonderful friends. We are still struggling with colic as their little tummies are slowly maturing and are now also dealing with thrush. If it were up to me, I'd make a rule that declared it illegal to have to deal with both of these at the same time. Unfortunately, there has been times when the girls are crying in between feedings and I'm crying during feedings. I'm now attacking the thrush with multiple medicines that will hopefully kick it quickly. We keep reminding ourselves that this too shall pass!

This week, Uncle Bryce and my dear friend Jessica came for a visit and to give support. Uncle Bryce was a natural with the girls, helping them settle with their upset tummies...

and spending lots of time with Cassidy making sure she knew how special she is
Jessica and Cassidy also spent some good times together while Jess was getting to know the girls

Jessica and Sawyer

We got to get out for a walk/bicycle ride..a little brisk, but very nice to get some fresh air and have some girl time!

Cassidy and Rylee helping to make pancakes for every one for breakfast

Our girls...Rylee is in the pink and white blanket, Sawyer in the pink/green blanket. Sawyer is gaining on her sister...

Our girls after a thrush treatment of gentrin violet, a stain that helps to kill the yeast infection on me that also gets transferred to them...aren't they cute...I'm not going to show my side!
