We were having a great night, Chad was on his weekend and I was appreciating my wonderful husband's parenting skills. He was giving Cassidy and Rylee a bath in the big tub while I had Sawyer in the kitchen sink. She has become way too squirmy for the baby tub and all she wants to do is climb over the side...not good. Things are going well, both babies were done, Chad had turned the shower on for Cass while we were getting the twins ready for bed. I had just gotten Sawyer's diaper and onsie on when BANG and crying from the bathroom. Chad and I look at each other and off I went while he finished getting the twins ready and then started on bottles. Cass had slipped and bumped her head, nothing serious but being bedtime things are always worse, so by the time she was calmed down with pjs on Chad had both babies in the recliner feeding bottles. Rylee was fussing so after I got Cass's show on I grabbed her to snuggle and finish the bottle. Sawyer finished first and was quite sleepy so Chad took her to bed. Rylee was slowly finishing her bottle, paying lots of attention to all that was going on around her and blowing big raspberries. Wait a second, Rylee doesn't blow raspberries....and doesn't have a belly button that sticks out, and oh yeah, doesn't wear this swaddle. Ugh. Chad goes in to switch Sawyer, I mean Rylee, into the right crib and finds her looking at Monkey like she'd never seen it before and wide awake...probably because she rarely sees monkey and was in a totally new bed! Thank goodness for raspberries...and herniated belly buttons.
