September was full of soccer and enjoying the last of summer sun at the beach, at the barn and just outside!
So what did the twins do during practice and games?? I have one word; containment! The back of the expedition was great then we moved to the dugout and at games they got to stay in the stroller. They always found ways to entertain themselves...and others!
I'm telling myself that Sawyer was trying to help Rylee get her shoes off...not having a snack :) Some one asked why I didn't let them out and the answer was easy...because I wanted to actually watch Cassidy play!
Cass came a long way in a short season and had a great time! She even managed to push her way into the pack to kick the ball a few times. That was huge progress since after the first game I had to explain to her that the other players weren't being mean when they were "pushing" that they were trying to get the ball and it's ok to "cut" during soccer. Oh, my sweet sweet girl.

Sawyer and Rylee in their two year old glory
All those kids belong to only 2 families...yep, it's kinda like herdin' cats, but lots more fun

Sawyer loves to ride...
but she also loves to be in control and lead....she may be my daughter
Our garden did well this year and provided lots of fun. All the girls loved going in a looking for "treasure" The funnies thing was that all our zucchinis looked like mice had gotten into them, turned out Sawyer really liked to eat them raw
Cassidy was very proud of her corn this year, and it was pretty yummy too! We had to have at least 8 ears for 1 dinner and Chad and I only got 1
Of course there is always "helping". Here they decided to tip the dog food can over so they could "help" feed the pups....oh, so helpful
But at least they clean up pretty cute!
October of course was about family fun, going to Dayton for hunting and Halloween. You will not see any pictures of deer (sad I know) but some of good times with Grandma and Papa and just hangin' out. Grandma Kit started us off by bringing over sugar cookies. She's a brave one and let every one help
Sawyer is definitely going to be another mule, uh I mean horse girl.....yay!
After hunting it was time to get serious about Halloween. Grandma and Pap took all three this year to the pumpkin patch and had a great time
Cass trying out different costumes....not sure what we'd call this. Maybe a fairy/scary/princess wolf thingy?
And then it was the grown-ups turn to be silly. Cari and Jess joined me for a Halloween Zombie run and thanks to Cassidy we arrived in style with fairy wings, tutus, and lots of bling!
I took advantage of Uncle Bryce and Jess being here to carve the pumpkins...definitely seemed like a good idea to have extra hands
Success!
followed by fun in the leaves! First you through her in....
then you pull her out. So many giggles

Cassidy gets to take credit for the costumes this year...our Pumpkin' Patch. First we did downtown and trust me, it didn't take long for the twins to figure out what to do and they were not shy about the crowds...pretty funny
Then it was off to a friends house and neighborhood to get to ring doorbells and say Trick-or-Treat!
The loot!
